Blessings cover your experience and skills — nothing else. Your items are protected only by an Amulet of Loss, sold by a single NPC, and it burns on every death. No exceptions.
What a death costs you
Experience, magic level and skills — the same share of all three, unblessed. Five blessings and a promotion bring level 200 down to 1.7%.
Ancient Animal A companion with its own levels, forms and spells — not a pet that follows you around.
Bestiary & Charms Kill counts unlock permanent combat effects you assign per creature.
A rebuilt engine The 7.4 downgrade is being fixed where it was actually broken, not patched over. Every fix is written up in the devlog.
